Clyde Movers Glasgow is Peter’s business. He quotes the job, plans the day and is on the van with the team. That is why the details get remembered.
We started Clyde Movers because too many people in Glasgow were getting either a big-firm price with a call-centre experience, or a cheap van with no plan. There is a better middle: a proper removals service with the care of a small team.
Our base is on West George Street in the city centre, which puts us within twenty minutes of almost every move we do, from tenement flats in Partick and Dennistoun to family homes in Bearsden, Giffnock and Newton Mearns, and out to Paisley and East Kilbride.
A big part of our work is tenement flats. Glasgow’s closes, landings and tight turns are where a move can go wrong, so we measure, wrap and protect before anything is lifted. The other big part is simply communication: a written quote, a confirmed time, and a phone that gets answered.

What you can expect from us
Straight talking
If a wardrobe won’t make the stair turn, we say so and dismantle it. If a date is a bad idea, we tell you.
Careful by default
Blankets, straps, floor runners and close protection on every job. Goods in transit cover available.
Local knowledge
Which streets need a bay suspension, which blocks need a lift booking, how long the M77 takes on a Friday.
On time
We confirm the arrival window the day before and stick to it. Early starts and weekend moves are no problem.
